being dragged around by our collie retriever cross all day as he wanted to meet all the obviously well trained gun dogs, who all seemed to be impeccably trained.
My brother and I had noticed the sound of gun fire over on one side of the show ground, and were obviously trying our father's patience to let us go and see what was
going on. By the time we got there it was fairly obvious that the noise was emanating from a have-a-go stand. I remember the setup, 2 stands allowing people to shoot
a 12 bore shotgun at static targets in the shape of bunnies and ducks
